The absolute best!!! These guys are upfront and honest about pricing. They use genuine parts and work quickly to get your vehicle back to you in top working condition. I brought my Lexus in about a two months ago because I made a rough noise at start up. They evaluated it and gave me a reason price but also said if you are okay with the noise you don’t need to do anything quite yet. I thanked them and said I will be back. Two months later I couldn’t it. Called and made an appointment with Mark, who remembered me. They were able to fix it in a day and a half. My Lexus runs better than ever. Thank you guys so much. I will definitely be back when necessary.

This was my first time to have maintenance service on my Lexus performed at TLC. I am very pleased with the overall experience. The mechanic noticed that my water pump was leaking; and instead of repairing this, I was advised to take the car to a Lexus dealership since the car was still under drivetrain warranty. Moreover, the mechanic noticed that my windshield wipers were not aligned properly. I had the front windshield replaced 4 months ago, and the wiper arms had not been installed properly. Again, TLC advised me to contact the company that had installed the windshield to have the wiper adjusted, again under warranty. I am very impressed with the service and the concern to control cost of repairs. Great job and Thanks!

We've been going to TLC Auto Repair for several years after we got tired of being ripped off by the auto dealerships. I comparison shop between the dealerships and TLC and I find that we consistently save almost half the price of what we were paying at the auto dealerships. TLC is honest and it's reassuring that they aren't just into making up repairs. The only downside is that they are a victim of their own success. You need to make an appointment to get in and sometimes it takes a week or two for an appt but they're well worth it. They ONLY work on Toyotas so we now only buy Toyotas because we don't trust any other auto repair place. It's too bad that they can't expand to a larger facility and could work on other imports besides Toyotas.

The service was excellent from the time I walked in the door until I left. I'm recommending them to all my friends. Quickly responded to my request. I waited for service and they chatted with me periodically. Made recommendations of how I could save money on the service. Recommended furtue service. They were awesome.

We were extremely please with both the responsiveness and excellent quality of the service provided by TLC. We went to TLC to get a second opinion after first taking our 2004 Scion XA to Toyota of San Diego after hearing unusual grinding noises while driving our car. We've always used Toyota of San Diego for routine maintenance, so we were surprised and disappointed when their repair estimate called for a replacement of the transmission, alternator, waterpump, and brakes which would cost approximately between $4,000 to $5,000 for labor and parts. Given that the car only has 65,000 miles, we were very skeptical that it needed this level of repair especially since this amount was roughly equivalent to the trade-in value of the vehicle. TLC was able to look at the car with short notice and quickly determined that the only repairs needed were to replace the waterpump and brakes. These repairs completely solved the issues and only cost us $475. Needless to say, we truly appreciate TLC's honest and timely service and will certainly be using them for all further maintenance on our Scion.

I signed onto Angie's list a few days ago and looked for a mechanic to take a look at my truck. TLC's name came up first so I read over their info and was pleased to see they specialized in Toyotas. I noticed an email link to their business so I emailed them my problem. I received a return email from Jim Clark within an hour! I never expected to hear from anyone that fast, much less by email back. He asked me to call him with any questions and call for an appointment if I needed one. I came by the next day with my truck and was met by a super friendly mechanic named Fred. Fred listened to my complaints about my truck and was extremely knowledgeable about the things I was noticing. He figured stuff out before I could even tell him. He spent alot of his time this morning going over some ideas of what he thought was wrong and offered to diagnose my truck for $90 (a really reasonable rate). I dropped my truck off with him and went to work. Fred called me later today and told me the problem and quoted me the repair. Since my appointment was to diagnose only, I was going to pick up my truck and schedule an appointment when they had a opening. I showed up at the end of the day and was pleasantly surprised that the muffler shop next door, American Muffler was going to be able to fit me and do the repair the same day. Even though TLC quoted me $90 for the diagnostic, they ended up telling me to just pay the muffler shop and they weren't going to charge me at all. Mr Clark said that once they got my truck up on the stands, that they knew immediately what the problem was and even though they had to refer me to American Muffler next door, they didn't feel right about charging me to take that look at my truck. I was blown away at their honesty and desire to get me to the right place. They could have charged me for the diagnostic but they didn't. I was really impressed with their customer service....and American Muffler ended up charging me $100 to weld on my cat converter and fix the mess left behind by Meineke and their crappy weld job. I was very happy with their work and their work ethic, they were true professionals and honest.
